Here at Tatra, we’ve been getting so excited for the arrival of Spring wedding season & can’t wait to see our gorgeous brides bringing their own style to our new look ballroom!

Spring is our peak garden wedding season so we’ve put together our top 5 favourite ideas for a Spring wedding for all of our gorgeous brides to be who will be saying ‘I do’ in the coming months.

Spring at Tatra is all about colour so we’ve showcased some of our most vibrant wedding inspiration ideas here.

Our top 5 ideas for a gorgeous colourful Spring garden wedding:

1. Vibrant seasonal bouquets

Spring brides have a little extra cause for celebration as they have access to some gorgeous bridal flowers that aren’t readily available during other seasons.

Roses, peonies, hydrangeas, sweet peas, rananculus, hydrangeas, tulips & more are all in season for spring weddings.  Spring brides have a huge array of colour options & styles to choose from, all of which will look gorgeous in our dreamy woodland wedding setting at Tatra.

2. Cascading bouquets

Inspired by the Dandenong ranges lush forest, a gorgeous cascading bouquet is a perfect option for a spring time wedding.

A long trailing bouquet creates a super flattering look for creative brides looking for a soft & rustic touch for their wedding.

3. Wildflowers

For brides looking for something a little more bohemian, a posy of wildflowers is a very feminine & youthful option.

4. Ethereal, colourful gowns

A new trend for brides wanting something a little different for their big day is for embellished, ethereal gowns. We loved Anthropologie’s US based wedding outfitter Bhldn‘s new Wild Serenity collection. Bonus, they ship to Australia!

For a softer colour palette we stumbled across CarouselFashion‘s Etsy store for very pretty handmade gowns that would look stunning in Tatra’s forest setting.

6. Whimsical details

We love it when brides bring their own creativity & personal touches to our ballroom for their weddings.  We can see these decorations looking amazing in our woodland wedding setting.

Soft pastel crinkle fans would make a perfect embellishment to a guest list or gift table.

Gold floral garlands would make a stunning canopy along a bridal table or decoration to a cake table.

We love these whimsical woodland creature cake toppers, matched perfectly with a classic tiered wedding cake.

Sophia Webster’s well known Chiara’s can be a little difficult to track down, but we love the whimsical feel of these butterfly heels, plus they make the perfect ‘something blue’ for any wedding!
