We had our wedding at Tatra. Can not speak highly enough of our experience. The venue is intimate, the gardens are picturesque and service from planning to the wedding day was top notch.

Beautiful venue for a wedding , Accommodation was great the best shower, big rooms & very reasonable price .All the staff very friendly & professional.The food was AMAZING VERY GENEROUS SERVES.The DJ/MC who also provided the photo booth was a great down to earth guy who got the guests fired up for a good night.We were guests at the wedding on 27/10/2023 & it truly is the best wedding we have ever attended.So a huge congratulations to all the staff at TATRA RECEPTIONS .If anyone is looking for a wedding venue please have a look at this place you will not be disappointed.

From our initial enquiry, to our wedding day, Tatra had been nothing short of INCREDIBLE. Communication was amazing no matter how many silly questions I had, the staff were always super friendly and helpful. The gardens are unlike anything we could have imagined and made us feel like we were in a fairytale. The wedding day was run without a single slip up thanks to the amazing staff and wedding coordinator Rachel. We had the best night of our lives & we want to thank Tatra for the amazing service!

Beautiful location up in the hills. Plenty of space for large functions/weddings. There were 180 people at the wedding I attended. A bit of a trip from the western suburbs, but worth it.

Had an amazing wedding, great communication throughout the planning process. On the day itself it was raining, but with some effort from staff and some luck, we dried the seats for an outdoor ceremony. Food was loved by all and there were no issues, overall running smoothly throughout the entire night.However, the day before the wedding we were told that the music system was outdated and many of the speakers did not work. As we did not have a DJ or band playing, this was a slight issue, as sound quality of the music lacked.We would ask Tatra to invest in a better, updated sound system for future events.Ultimately, we recommend Tatra Receptions to anyone looking for a natural, beautiful venue for a wedding or other large event 🙂

Andrew and the team at Tatra receptions are exceptional at what they do our night went smooth and was great food too.provided dj mc and rooms and great drinks and atmosphere for a wedding.photos are gorgeous (Andrew Shwartz photography) and the night could not have been nicer thanks again to the team of chef's staff and organizers for a memorable day.

The location is spectacular among the trees and the bush of Mount Dandenong . The reception area is nice. Obviously, the catering is dependent on your preferences.

Wow! What a wedding we attended on February 11th, 2023! Our daughters wedding! Everything was so well organised at Tatra! The food was excellant, the service and the accomodations were perfect. Loved the entire day. Fantastic!😊

Tatra was our wedding venue and we are SO HAPPY we chose it! We fell in love with it because of the various locations and backdrops within the one place: the ballroom, chapel, garden and many outdoor photoshoot options. On the day, we also had perfect weather which made the venue even more stunning! Our guests all complimented how beautiful it was and to be in Mt Dandenong. Tatra was always quick to respond and communicate with. The staff were so lovely and helpful on the day as well as prior to the day. It is also large enough for flexible big number of guests. Our guests also complimented the food and meals. It was also lovely having accommodation on site to stay overnight for ourselves as bride and groom, and for guests. Tatra is a great choice for wedding venue!

I was here for a wedding, and i was amazed by the place. The gardens at the back is like walking into a fairytale, the staff were very welcoming and polite and the food delicious, definitely recommending it for young couples to have their wedding there !!

Tatra Receptions was absolutely amazing. Me and our partner organised our wedding pre-covid and their service throughout and post-covid with all the changes and postponements along the way were fantastic. All of our changes and requests coming into the wedding were handled with patience from Andrew and the team and I'm amazed at how happy and easy-going they were with the changes my parents had been organising before the wedding.Shelby Davidson(?), our co-ordinator from Tatra, went above and beyond to ensure that despite the rain and constant changes to the plan made sure things ran with the amended schedule and single-handedly ensured our day was one to remember. Our bridal party can't thank her enough for all of the support and help she and the team on the day.

Beautiful place n reception...ensure to pick a good day for wedding .Especially not windy or rainy season .....Car parking and pathway need some lights during the night time.Hard to walk back without lights and some dangerous steps ....so be mindful to ask them

Me and my partner fell in love with this garden gem located at Mount Dandenong. It’s surrounded with beautiful flowers lifted with beautiful oaks trees and magnolia. Well preserved gazebo and archway and the iconic chapel. Andrew and his team has been so hospitable and accomodating. They are very friendly and provided an amazing service. They will be able to give you the dream wedding you could ever dream of. Their sticky date pudding is a MUST. You will fall in love with the woodplace if you decided to go ahead with a winter wedding or not. It will still look great for a spring/autumn wedding.

As a Marriage Celebrant, I thought Tatra Receptions to be an absolutely beautiful venue offering the best Plan A, when garden wedding sought, and brilliant Plan B in their gorgeous chapel when the weather wasn't favourable for an outside wedding.The reception area looked amazing, set up beautifully for the couple's party after their wedding ceremony!With onsite accommodation, Tatra has it all. Highly recommend!

Very pretty venue and the food was amazing! The accommodation was nice, room and bathroom was massive, with basic tea and coffee and cornflakes for breakfast. Only complaint is the bed, a king bed would be appreciated, the queen looks very small and isn't as comfortable as a larger bed, especially for the $180 per night price tag.

The bride, the groom, best man, maids of honor, groom's men and flower girls. All with Tatra as the backdrop for a spectacular wedding and reception, how could a night be more special. The food was extraordinary and the staff wonderful. However, the best part was being able to stagger 10 metres to a warm suite to sleep off the 'celebrations'.

Attended a wedding here on the weekend and used the onsite accommodation. Very conveniently located. Staff very helpfully put us in the room closest to the venue when we requested this for ease with our young child.

This venue for our wedding was so beautiful! All the guests loved the photo opportunities in the garden and chapel, as well as enjoyed the delicious food for the night.The communication was great, always very prompt and informative. Tatra Wedding Receptions are amazing. When my wife and I went through the venue over a year ago we knew this was the place to get married. The different locations they offer to have your ceremony, we chose the chapel which is beautiful. From the Chapel to the out side gazebo and gardens there is plenty of places to get some great photos. Reception hall is very big and modern we had 130 people sit-down and also had a 5 piece band and there was still plenty of room to move around and dance. The food is amazing!! the chef and his team did a great job and they can cater for all dietary needs.Tatra were very accommodating with things and we would highly recommend Andrew and his wonderful team to our friends & family.
