Many couples choose a Garden Wedding Ceremony in our Cupola or Gazebo and to continue with outdoor Pre-Dinner Drinks and canapes served to guests from our rustic Garden Bar, whilst you continue your Wedding Photography, prior to entering the Ballroom.
Our wedding planning team can assist you with planning your Garden Wedding in time to capture photographs at sunset.
The Dining Room
Tatra Receptions’ Main Building has undergone extensive renovations and now boasts modern and neutral toned interiors.
We host Wedding Receptions in our newly renovated main building, which houses our:
- Spacious Dining Room;
- Light filled Pre-Dinner Room and Bar; and
- Whimsical forest themed Bridal Change Room.
Features & inclusions
Our main building is located within a short stroll of our Chapel, Cupola and Gazebo and includes everything that you will need for your Wedding Reception.
Our Pre-Dinner Room and Bar are ideal for pre-dinner drinks and canapes for Winter Weddings and in the event of inclement weather.
Our Dining Room is intended to provide a neutral backdrop for couples who plan on adding to our interiors to bring their wedding vision to life, whilst also providing an elegant setting for couples who plan to celebrate their weddings at Tatra Receptions with minimal extra suppliers or decorations.
The Dining Room features:
- A modern, neutral, cool toned colour scheme;
- Spacious, airy windows bringing our forest setting in;
- Calcutta marble bar, wrought iron chandeliers and mood lighting;
- Wrought iron chandeliers in neutral tones;
- Cosy wood fireplace and couches;
- White Napoleon chairs for up to 270 guests; and
- PA system for announcements.
Pre-Dinner Room
The Pre-Dinner Room is an indoor space for your Pre-Dinner Drinks and Canapes service and will be open to your guests in between your Wedding Ceremony and Wedding Reception.
The Pre-Dinner Room features:
- Sweeping views of the Dandenong Ranges forest and our gardens;
- Cosy wood fireplace and couches;
- A vintage crystal chandelier imported from directly from France;
- Substantial window seat and ample additional seating; and
- Access to our neutral Calcutta marble Bar.
Bridal Change Room
Our Bridal Change Room is a private space for you to utilise on your Wedding day, in addition to your complimentary overnight Wedding Accommodation in our Honeymoon suite.
Many of our couples choose to get ready onsite at Tatra Receptions on the morning of their wedding.
Our Bridal Change Room features:
- A whimsical woodland theme;
- Plenty of space for the bridal party to get ready;
- Access from 9:00am on the morning of your wedding; and
- Private bathroom.
